Approval Nudge

One click, wherever you already work.

Approvals stall because the approver is not in the ERP — they are in a meeting, on a phone, in a chat window. Approval Nudge brings the decision to them and writes it back to the record, verified, so your routing never leaves the ERP.

See it in action

The same verified decision in Slack and Teams

Approval Nudge meets each approver in the tool they already use. The channel changes; identity checks, write-back and the ERP audit trail do not.

Chat is the interface. Your ERP is the record.

Every channel follows the same identity check, write-back and routing path.

  1. Request sent

    VB-10428 routed to Dana

  2. Identity verified

    Controller role matched

  3. Approved in ERP

    Decision written to record

  4. Routing continues

The problem

An approval queue is a queue of people, not documents. The bill is ready, the routing is correct, the policy is clear — and the payment waits three days because the person who has to press the button does not spend their day in the ERP. Chasing them is somebody's job, which is how approvals become a close-week activity.

The usual fixes trade one problem for a worse one: approve by email reply and you lose identity and audit; move approvals into a separate platform and your rules now live in two systems that must agree forever. Neither is acceptable to the person who has to sign off on controls.

How it works

A four-step chain, and the ERP owns it

01

The ERP assigns the approver

Your existing approval routing stays in charge. We do not replace it, re-implement it, or keep a second copy of your rules.

02

A card arrives where they work

The approver gets the record, the amount and the context they need in Slack or Teams — not a link to a login screen they will open later.

03

One click, verified

The click is matched to the approver's ERP identity and permission to approve that record. An approval from the wrong person is refused, not logged.

04

ERP routing continues

The decision is written to the record itself, stamped for audit, and the next step in your routing fires as though it had been approved in the ERP — because it was.

Comparison

What else you could do instead

ApproachWhat you getWhat it costs you
A simple chat connectorPosts a notification into a channelThe approval still happens in the ERP afterwards. No identity verification, no write-back, so the notification is a reminder, not a decision.
An iPaaS platformCan move data between the ERP and chatYou own the build, the permission logic and the audit trail. Every routing change becomes a maintenance ticket on a flow nobody on the finance team can read.
A dedicated approval platformRich standalone approval workflowsIt becomes the system of record for approvals, so your rules live in two places and the ERP receives the outcome. Migration and duplicate governance are the real cost.
Build it yourselfExactly the behaviour you specifyIdentity mapping, token handling, chat platform API changes and audit-grade logging are the whole job. It is a product, not a script, and then you maintain it.
Approval NudgeVerified one-click approval in chat, written to the ERP recordYour ERP stays the system of record and keeps owning the routing rules. Nothing to migrate, nothing to govern twice.
